Compassionate care, professional training and advocacy for staff development and trauma recovery.
The StrongHer Project LLC has been established to provide a compassionate and empowering environment where survivors of crime and women in high-stress crisis and stress work environments receive trauma-informed care that fosters healing, resilience, and empowerment.
We aim to be a leading organization committed to promoting dignity, and recovery through innovative support services, education, and advocacy, ensuring every individual we serve can rebuild their lives with confidence and hope.
At The StrongHer Project LLC, we take a holistic approach to community support. We believe that in order to truly support individuals and families, we must address all aspects of their lives, including physical health, mental health, and social support. The guiding principles of trauma informed care are rooted in the fabric of our well-being.

Dr. Adrienne Hillman has over 21 years of experience in crisis response, trauma informed care and victim advocacy, focusing on improving support services for survivors of crime. She holds a PhD in Trauma and Victimology and is an accomplished speaker and trainer who works to inspire hope in communities.
Dr. Hillman's work significantly contributes to the empowerment of crime survivors and the effectiveness of community support services through her innovative training methods. This allows training programs to adapt in real-time, focusing on areas where employees need the most support and leading to greater efficiency and skill development.
Dr. Hillman personalizes training by assessing employee performance and needs, allowing programs to adapt quickly to changes in technology, policies, and regulations. She creates interactive learning content like simulations and tailored exercises, helping employees practice skills in realistic scenarios. Additionally, she is skilled in producing training materials such as documents, summaries, and broadcasts.
Some notable trainings that she has done in the past include Trauma Informed Care and FEDI Interviewing with Denver Police Department, Faith-Based TIC Leaders for the Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) and Human Trafficking 101 to the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Dr. Hillman has also worked with the Department of Defense and is a grant peer reviewer for the Department of Justice and the California Board of State and Community Corrections.
SHP's work centers on enhancing the effectiveness of support services through real-time, adaptive training programs. By continuously assessing employee performance and individual learning needs, she ensures that training content evolves alongside changes in technology, policy, and regulation. These trainings include:
